Worked with Kelly Allen, about 15 years ago and again recently to help me buy a house in Decatur. I bought the house while living in Raleigh. She showed me several houses around the aread I was interested in over video calls. She was able to read market right, avoid areas (flood zones, poor resale) I wouldn’t want to live in and find me a great house. She has also been able to arrange inspections and recommend repair companies that have done a great job. Would use again (hopefully don’t have to move though) and would highly recommend.

At the peak of the sellers' market in 2021, I had an unusual circumstance that was getting in the way of listing my profit. Led by Mr. David House, his team served as professional, emissary to deal with a problematic individual. David was able to communicate effectively, so that an accord could be obtained to proceed with the listing. Kathleen Gersh of Kelly+Co is nothing short of phenomenal. She helped me and my wife at a time when we were growing extremely frustrated with our home buying experience. Prior to meeting Kathleen, we had worked with two different realtors that did nothing but undermine our faith in the value of buyers’ agents. Both agents exerted little-to-no effort in finding us what we were looking for and passively waited for us to give them the list of properties we were interested in. Long story short, they let us do all the legwork and expected to collect easy commissions. Kathleen was nothing like that. She is the most hardworking agent you would ever work with. I came in contact with her when I inquired about the status of a house that her broker was listing. Not only did she get me the information that I was looking for in a timely manner, she also provided excellent advice on what to look for in a buyer’s agent after she had sensed my frustration with my then-current agent. She also did an amazing job helping me understand the true value proposition that buyers’ agents are supposed to bring to the table. As she was giving me advice, she refrained from offering her (or her broker’s) services since, according to her, that would interfere with what she perceived to be a working relationship with another agent. Instead, she gave me general advice and made sure I was well-informed. She also invited me to reach out anytime I needed help with anything. She cared so much that she was willing to help restore my faith in her profession by providing free advice. When I decided to break all ties with my second agent, I reached back out to Kathleen to see if she could help me and my wife find that elusive house we were after. She immediately paired us with a top agent in her firm and worked around the clock to get us into a house that met our criteria. She activated all resources – conventional and unconventional – from realtor Facebook groups to family and friends. At one point she came to us with 113 off-market properties based on our very stringent criteria. THAT WAS AMAZING!!! David House is the best agent I have encountered. The primary reason for this is his own personal drive. That helps me as much as it helps him; a symbiotic relationship. He stops at nothing to get you into a home you truly want - he is not discouraged by being asked to view multiple properties, even if many are very similar and in the same building, with only slightly different views. Nor did I once get the feeling that he was ever trying to "upsell" me into a higher priced home in search of a higher commission. He truly was motivated by getting me into what I liked best.
